Spending time outdoors in the Arctic can be challenging, but we’ve got you covered! After braving the cold, we’ll take you inside to enjoy a warm bowl of traditional fish soup, or a delicious plant-based alternative for non-meat eaters. Toilets, coffee, and tea are also provided -all included.

A trip into the wilderness outside of Tromsø, with lunch included. We will go to Kvaløya (Whale Island). Our scenic route is often to Sommarøy (Summer Island), through a spectacular landscape of deep valleys, majestic fjords, pristine sand beaches and architectural marvels and iconic bridges connecting the islands. Keep your eyes peeled for wild reindeer, which often show unexpectedly.
This “Arctic in a Nutshell” tour can sometimes offer you to experience all the seasons in one tour – snow, rain, sun, are natural elements most part of the year. The magic of Northern Norway’s nature. We will offer a meal in the form of a warm soup, a healthy sandwiches or authentic expedition fare – served either in cozy indoor settings or amidst the breathtaking outdoors.

Weather Note: Our tours proceed in all conditions – rain, snow, or shine. The unique microclimate of the fjords and mountains often creates dramatic weather shifts, rewarding us with spectacular views even on seemingly challenging days. These changing conditions are part of the authentic Arctic experience and can lead to some of the most memorable moments of your journey.
Here is a list of the “possible” (not mandatory) stops / experiences around Tromso. The guide stops normally in 3-5 of these locations, according to the weather and road conditions.

Our tours operate with a minimum of 4 participants. If this minimum isn’t met, we’ll coordinate with our trusted partners offering similar experiences. Should we still not reach the required number, or if severe weather conditions necessitate cancellation, you’ll have the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
